Inside a 300mm LED Traffic Light Module Production Batch

Product focus: 300mm LED traffic light modulesTopic: OEM production and quality control

These current factory photos show a production batch of 300mm LED traffic light modules, prepared wiring terminals and compatible signal housings at the GAOQIAO workshop. For a buyer, the useful question is not simply whether a supplier can show finished products. It is whether the module, wiring, housing and order documents are controlled as one configuration before shipment.

A wide view of the current 300mm LED traffic light production batch: optical modules are grouped on the right, while compatible square signal housings are staged on the left.
What the photographs verify: the 300mm size was confirmed for this batch, and the images visibly document modules, leads, terminals, housings and production staging. Voltage, signal color, photometric class, ingress protection and certification are order-specific details; buyers should confirm them from the approved drawing and test documents rather than infer them from a photograph.

What is being produced in this 300mm traffic light batch?

The batch contains round LED optical modules intended for 300mm traffic signal heads, along with wiring and square housings. A complete signal head normally combines the optical indication, enclosure, visor, mounting hardware, cable entry and internal connections. When the order is for replacement modules rather than complete heads, mechanical fit and electrical compatibility become just as important as the nominal 300mm face size.

This distinction matters during sourcing. “300mm LED traffic light” may describe a complete red-yellow-green signal head, one signal section, or a replacement LED module. A precise request should state which assembly is required. Buyers replacing an installed unit should also provide front and rear photos, connector or terminal details, mounting measurements and the existing label. Our module-versus-complete-head guide explains when each approach is appropriate.

1. Wiring and fork terminals are part of the approved configuration

The close-up shows fork terminals attached to insulated leads, with heat-shrink sleeves covering the termination area. This type of detail affects installation speed and field reliability. Before production, the buyer and manufacturer should agree on the conductor function, cable length, terminal style, insulation method and connection diagram.

For OEM traffic light orders, the drawing revision should control these details. If a distributor requires a particular terminal, label language or cable length, it should be written into the order rather than handled as a packing note after assembly. That reduces rework and makes the same configuration easier to reproduce on repeat orders.

2. Batch assembly makes configuration control visible

Grouping modules by production configuration helps the team compare repeated assemblies against the same approved requirements. Visible consistency is useful, but it is only one part of quality control. The model identity, electrical input, indication, lens or optical pattern, lead configuration and housing interface still need to match the order documents.

For a replacement LED traffic light module, nominal diameter is not enough. The buyer should confirm the rear profile, fastening points, sealing interface, available depth and controller compatibility. For a new complete head, the manufacturer can match the module and housing as one assembly. See the traffic signal housing and module guide for the dimensions that affect fit.

3. Housings are staged separately to protect parts before assembly

The housings in the photo are separated with protective material during staging. For the finished signal head, housing choice affects module fit, visor arrangement, service access, cable entry, mounting and packing volume. Buyers should specify whether they need individual signal sections, a multi-aspect assembly, brackets or only replacement optical modules.

OEM branding can also be planned at this stage. Logo position, rating labels, carton marks and manuals should remain legible without obstructing the indication or service access. Our OEM logo and label placement guide lists the information that should stay visible.

What should a buyer confirm before 300mm LED traffic light production?

Order itemInformation to confirmWhy it matters
Supply scopeReplacement module, single section or complete multi-aspect signal headPrevents an incomplete or incompatible quotation
IndicationRed, yellow, green, arrow, pedestrian symbol or other approved displayControls the optical assembly and labeling
Electrical inputRated voltage, frequency where relevant, power and controller interfaceDetermines driver and system compatibility
Mechanical interface300mm face, housing type, depth, fasteners, gasket and mounting detailsConfirms fit in a new or existing signal head
WiringLead length, conductor function, terminal or connector and wiring diagramReduces installation changes and wiring errors
OEM requirementsLogo, model label, language, carton marks, manual and spare ratioKeeps private-label deliveries consistent
Acceptance evidenceApproved sample or drawing, inspection scope, photos and required test documentsCreates a clear release basis before shipment

A complete request produces a faster, more accurate quotation. Use our traffic signal RFQ checklist to collect the technical and delivery information before sending the inquiry.

Quality control should connect the drawing, batch and shipment

Factory photographs are useful evidence of real production, but they do not replace an inspection record. For each quoted configuration, the acceptance plan should identify what is checked, how the sample is selected and which documents are delivered. The exact test scope depends on the product and the applicable project requirements.

Identity and revisionMatch the model, approved drawing, indication and order quantity.
Wiring and terminationCheck lead length, terminal attachment, insulation and the agreed wiring diagram.
Mechanical assemblyCheck module seating, fasteners, gasket interface, housing access and visible finish.
Functional evidencePerform and record the electrical and illuminated checks required by the approved specification.
OEM identificationVerify labels, logo files, manuals and carton marks against the release artwork.
Packing and traceabilityProtect the optical face and housings, and link cartons to the order or batch record.

Buyers can use the pre-shipment traffic signal inspection checklist as a starting point, then adapt it to their contract and destination requirements.

How can GAOQIAO support OEM and repeat orders?

GAOQIAO focuses on conventional traffic signal design and production, including 300mm LED modules and complete traffic signal heads. An OEM order can cover the agreed optical indication, housing format, wiring, branding, labels, packaging and supporting documents. Repeatability improves when the first order is released against an approved drawing or sample and later orders reference the same controlled configuration.

Fast delivery begins with complete information. Production time depends on the confirmed specification, order quantity, material readiness, inspection scope, packing and transport method. Sending the destination, required delivery date and full configuration with the first inquiry allows the sales and production teams to give a more useful schedule.
