300mm LED Traffic Light Module Inspection: What a Useful Batch Record Should Show
A useful inspection record connects a particular batch of 300mm LED traffic light modules to an approved specification, a defined check and a recorded result. A photograph can show the product being manufactured. It cannot, by itself, establish electrical performance or prove that a shipment passed its acceptance requirements.
The GAOQIAO factory photographs below show 300mm modules supplied as real production examples. They help buyers identify details worth checking before shipment. The checklist in this article is a procurement guide, not a completed inspection report for the photographed batch.

Factory photograph: round modules, clear front covers and outgoing leads are visible. The photograph does not establish the emitted signal color or operating voltage.
Start with the approved module specification
“300mm” is a nominal size description, not a complete interchangeability specification. Before evaluating a replacement module, confirm the housing opening, mounting arrangement, module depth, cable exit and available internal space against the approved drawing.
The inspection record should identify the model, order or batch reference, drawing revision and quantity covered. Where an order contains different indications or electrical configurations, record them separately. A pass result for one configuration should not be treated as evidence for another.
Separate visible checks from measured checks
On a small screen, swipe the table to see every column.
| Inspection area | What to establish | Evidence to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Identity and fit | Correct model and drawing revision; agreed mounting dimensions | Label photograph and dimension record |
| Front cover and housing | Condition, assembly and agreed mechanical features | Close-up photographs and observations |
| Leads and terminals | Function, length, terminal type and insulation match the wiring drawing | Connection detail and wiring reference |
| Electrical operation | Operation under the agreed input conditions | Test method, supply conditions and actual result |
| Optical or environmental requirements | Applicable contractual requirements for this model | Relevant report with model and scope identified |
| Release and packing | Inspected quantity reconciles with approved shipment quantity | Release record and packing reference |
A visual check cannot establish a photometric class or ingress-protection rating. If the project requires those characteristics, agree the applicable evidence and acceptance criteria before production. Keep routine batch checks distinct from type testing or third-party certification.
Make the result traceable
“Checked” is less useful than a record that states what was checked and how. For measured items, retain the acceptance limit, measured value, units, test conditions and instrument identification where applicable. For sampled checks, identify the sampling basis and sample quantity; do not describe sampled inspection as a check of every unit.
If a discrepancy is found, record the affected quantity, corrective action and reinspection result. An unresolved exception should remain visible until the authorized release decision is recorded. This gives the buyer a clearer view than a collection of uncaptioned workshop photographs.
What to request before shipment
Ask for the agreed inspection record, the current wiring drawing, a representative label photograph and the packing reference. Any customer details shared publicly should be removed, while the technical information needed to understand the example should remain legible.
