Traffic Signal Controllers: Wired, Wireless & Solar Options

Traffic light control systems for project-specific operation

GAOQIAO supplies traffic signal controllers for sale for intersections, pedestrian crossings, lane-control applications and solar or temporary traffic management. The correct controller is selected from the phase plan, field devices, output requirement, operating voltage, cabinet arrangement and communication method—not simply from the number of signal heads shown in a product image.

Choose a wired traffic signal controller where a central cabinet and field wiring are required. For cable-free or solar-powered applications, review solar wireless traffic light controllers. A controller cabinet should be specified with the controller, load switching, terminals and protection requirements as one coordinated system; use our controller cabinet guide to prepare the required project information.

For integration teams, the traffic controller communication protocol guide explains how to define interface documentation, central-system data points and acceptance checks. For branded projects, use the traffic light controller OEM guide to define firmware, enclosure and documentation responsibilities before quoting. For fleet operation, see the traffic signal remote monitoring guide.

To request a configuration and quote, send the junction drawing, phase sequence, signal-head schedule, required outputs, voltage, applicable standard, quantity, destination and target delivery date. This allows the manufacturer to review compatibility before production.

Current catalogue configuration examples

The public catalogue currently lists the following controller categories. These are examples for initial selection, not a substitute for a project configuration review; availability and final specification must be confirmed before order.

Controller categoryExamples currently listedConfirm before quotation
Wired controllers6-output 220V, 22-output, 44-output and 56-output controller/cabinet listingsPhase plan, load schedule, output count, voltage, cabinet and field wiring
Solar and wireless controllers5-output, 22-output and 44-output solar or wireless controller listingsSolar resource, battery/storage, wireless method, operating schedule and site layout
Accessories and remote control12V/24V charge-controller and 4-output remote-control listingsCompatibility with the selected controller, power system and signal heads

Compare catalogue controller configurations

Open the 6-output 220V listing, 22-output 220V listing or 56-output controller listing as a starting point. Output count does not establish load capacity or protocol support. Request the model-specific output ratings, terminal drawing, conflict handling and supported interface documentation with your phase plan.

See GAOQIAO workshop and dispatch photographs and the signal wiring checklist. Send a controller configuration enquiry with the required phase sequence and load schedule.

OEM and integration deliverables

For an OEM or central-system project, define the model list, interface/protocol requirement, wiring and I/O schedule, enclosure requirements, software or configuration responsibility, test process and document list before production. Use the protocol documentation package guide and the OEM integration acceptance-test guide to prepare the enquiry.

Controller system components to confirm before production

A traffic controller is only one part of the project system. Before production, confirm the controller unit, cabinet or enclosure, signal-head schedule, load and terminal arrangement, power supply, field wiring and the communication or I/O interface required by the project. Detection equipment should be listed only when it is part of the approved project scope.

  • Controller and cabinet: identify the selected model, output requirement, voltage, enclosure arrangement and field-wiring constraints.
  • Signal heads and loads: provide the indication schedule and expected load; use the controller output-load checklist when preparing the schedule.
  • Interfaces: document the required communication, I/O and central-system data points before configuration. See the traffic controller communication protocol guide.
  • Acceptance: agree the drawings, configuration version, test steps and document list before dispatch, then retain the approved record for project handover.
