Use an annotated drawing to define the custom work

An annotated elevation is helpful when the request combines a light fitting, pole and arm. Mark each attachment position and distinguish an existing component from one that needs to be supplied. If appearance matters, include the requested finish and any identification or labelling location as drawing notes.

List open design questions separately from agreed requirements. This makes it clear which dimensions are fixed by the installation and which may be proposed during review. Keep the accepted drawing revision with the quotation, and confirm packing or transport constraints before the design is finalised.
