LED Traffic Light Manufacturer & Traffic Signal Solutions

GAOQIAO helps project buyers compare LED traffic lights, traffic signal controllers, countdown timers, solar and portable systems, signal boards, poles and accessories against the actual road application.

One supplier for the complete traffic signal scope

A traffic signal quotation is easier to compare when the signal head, indication, controller interface and mounting arrangement are specified together. This overview brings together the product and project terms buyers commonly use when searching for a traffic light manufacturer, LED traffic signal supplier or traffic signal manufacturer in China.

Vehicle signal heads: specify size and indication together

Searches for “300mm traffic light” or “400mm LED traffic signal” describe the aperture, not the complete product. The final configuration also includes the number of aspects, the optical face, the housing, the visor, the power supply and the way the controller switches each colour. For a clear RFQ, list every required red, yellow, green, arrow or full-face indication.

Pedestrian, bicycle and accessible crossing applications

Pedestrian and bicycle projects are not simply smaller vehicle signals. They need a recognised symbol, a readable red/green sequence, a suitable viewing position and, where required, an audible or push-button interface. For school zones, accessible crossings and cycle paths, confirm the local standard and the intended road-user behavior before choosing the signal head.

Controllers, countdown timers and remote operation

The controller is the part that turns a list of signal heads into a working intersection. Confirm the phase plan, output count, switching voltage, common conductor, cable cores, terminal labels and timing source. A countdown timer may use a trigger, learning or communication interface; “countdown traffic light” is therefore not a sufficient wiring specification.

Solar, portable and work-zone traffic signals

Solar and portable traffic lights are selected by site constraints rather than by appearance alone. A buyer should state the required operating hours, battery autonomy, charging conditions, wireless synchronisation distance, transport frequency, mounting base and emergency reset method. For road construction, temporary diversions and rural intersections, this information helps the manufacturer size the system and avoid an underpowered installation.

Signal boards, lane control and road-safety extensions

Arrow boards, lane-control signals, radar speed signs and warning products sit next to the traffic signal scope in many road-safety projects. They should be specified as a system: indication, viewing angle, controller or remote interface, cabinet location and mounting. If a project includes lane-control red crosses, green arrows or a speed display, list these as separate controlled outputs in the RFQ.

Housings, poles and maintenance parts

Housing and mounting details affect installation time, weather protection and serviceability. Include the housing material, visor depth, rear access, cable entry, pole or arm type, finish and spare modules in the purchase description. A complete specification avoids the common problem of comparing two quotations that use the same diameter but different body construction or controller interfaces.

RFQ checklist for a traffic light manufacturer

  1. Country, applicable standard and installation environment.
  2. Signal diameter in millimetres and number of aspects.
  3. Ball, arrow, pedestrian, bicycle, lane-control or countdown indication.
  4. Input voltage, controller model, phase plan and wiring drawing.
  5. Housing, visor, pole or arm, cable entry and accessories.
  6. Quantity by indication, packing, delivery destination and target date.

Send this information with a project drawing or a marked photograph. GAOQIAO can then review the configuration with purchasing, engineering and the site team before a quotation is finalised.
