Define the display before requesting a custom board

No standard product cards are currently listed for this category. A custom signal board starts with an approved display brief: what must be shown, when it changes and who needs to see it. Provide that brief with a front-view sketch so the requested configuration can be reviewed without assuming a particular existing model.

Keep the display face, enclosure, mounting and controller interface as separate parts of the specification. If only a fixed symbol is required, state that clearly. If several indications are needed, provide the complete list of permitted states and how the control equipment selects them.

Keep artwork and control states in the same brief

A front-view drawing should label the visible indication in every requested state. Use the same labels in the control description so that artwork, wiring and operation can be reviewed together. Identify any wording that must remain in a particular language and any symbols that are fixed by the project.

Before approving a custom configuration, confirm the boundary of supply: display, enclosure, controller, brackets, cables and spare components. Keep proposed options separate from confirmed requirements. An enquiry can then be revised without changing unrelated details, and the final approved artwork and drawing can remain the reference for production and incoming inspection.
