Controller channels and phase planning
Start with a channel schedule showing every lamp output and the movement it controls. An output count describes connection channels; it does not by itself define the number of junction approaches or a safe phase plan. Keep pedestrian calls, arrow movements and countdown interfaces explicit in the proposed wiring schedule.
Before selecting the controller, compare the lamp supply, load per channel and required switching arrangement with its terminal diagram. Provide the intended sequence, clearance intervals and any external inputs for review. Confirm the startup condition and fault response with the supplier and the project engineer before the unit is installed.
Details to confirm on the order
- Published current reference
- ≤8A/output. Confirm the applicable load conditions and complete wiring diagram for the selected version before assigning connected equipment to its terminals.
Information for your enquiry
- Lamp quantity and electrical load connected to each output.
- Required stages, external inputs and any countdown communication.
- Terminal layout, cabinet space and the approved commissioning sequence.
