Define the LED signal supply, interfaces and acceptance responsibilities before ordering equipment for a wider traffic management project.
Start with the signal equipment scope
A traffic management project can include roadside signals, controllers, detection devices, communications and central software. These are separate procurement packages with different responsibilities. GAOQIAO focuses on conventional LED traffic signal design and production. Any controller, remote function or additional component in an offer must be confirmed for the specific project; this page does not claim that GAOQIAO supplies an entire adaptive control or central management platform.
Document the existing intersection
Prepare a schedule of vehicle, arrow, pedestrian and bicycle indications, with quantities and mounting positions. Identify the signal heads and cabinets that will remain in place. Collect nameplate photographs, wiring drawings, input voltage and the available controller output information. This baseline is useful even when the immediate purchase is only a replacement LED module, because mechanical fit and electrical compatibility must both be checked.
Assign interface responsibilities
The project team should state who supplies each device, who approves the connection and who performs commissioning. If the design includes detection or central software, ask those providers for their documented interfaces and acceptance requirements. Do not assume that equipment described as smart or wireless communicates with an existing platform. Keep network integration requirements separate from the basic signal-head specification until the relevant suppliers have confirmed them.
Select a practical implementation stage
An initial stage may replace worn signal heads or standardize spare modules while retaining the existing controller. Another stage may change controller functions or add monitoring through an appointed integrator. Choose the scope from the site’s operational need and available evidence, rather than from a promise of automatic congestion reduction. Any expected improvement should be evaluated against an agreed baseline and the actual project design.
Specify signal heads for the project
For the LED equipment, confirm diameter, indication, section count, housing, mounting and input requirements. Include countdown requirements separately and identify the intended timing source. State the documentation, inspection and packaging needed for delivery. Where solar or portable equipment is being considered, provide the load and operating conditions before asking for a power configuration; these requirements cannot be inferred from a generic smart-city label.
Agree acceptance and maintenance records
Have qualified project personnel define sample checks and system acceptance before installation. Retain approved drawings, configuration references, inspection results and the responsibility list. Record any substitution or software-dependent interface change so future replacement orders use the correct version. A maintenance plan should identify the spare signal components and the party responsible for controller or platform support.
Send a focused equipment enquiry
Send GAOQIAO the signal schedule, site drawings, controller details, quantity, delivery destination and requested date. Identify mandatory documentation and any OEM marking. We can use that information to clarify the proposed signal equipment supply and flag interfaces requiring confirmation by the responsible parties. Confirmed specifications, inspection arrangements and packaging provide a more useful purchasing basis than unsupported claims about an end-to-end intelligent traffic system.
