Use the approved order as the inspection baseline
Pre-shipment inspection checks the supplied goods against an agreed specification. It does not by itself establish compliance with every destination regulation or replace independent type testing. Start with the approved drawings, model list, order quantities and acceptance plan.
Identity and physical condition
Check labels, model references, aspect arrangement, display symbols, enclosure condition and supplied accessories. Compare mounting points and cable entries with the approved drawings. Identify substitutions or mixed variants before shipment.
Electrical and functional checks
Use the specified supply and an approved procedure with suitable test equipment. Verify the functions required by the order, including indications and any countdown or communication options actually supplied. Record measured values against agreed limits; do not add unsupported functions to the inspection checklist.
Sampling and evidence
Agree the sampling standard, inspection level, defect classifications and acceptance limits before selecting samples. A sample quantity or an acceptable defect count without that context is not a complete sampling plan. Record lot size, selected units, results, photographs and equipment identification.
Packaging and release
Match quantities and package labels to the packing list. Check protection for lenses, visors, connectors and accessories during handling. Record nonconformities, corrective action and reinspection results. Release the shipment only through the agreed approval process.
