Using a 400mm two-way arrow signal

This three-aspect head combines red, yellow and green double-arrow indications in a large 400mm format. It is intended for locations where the same signal face must communicate directional control to two movements or two viewing approaches. The round or square arrow presentation can be selected to match the project drawing, and the UV-resistant polycarbonate housing is offered with transparent flat or cobweb curved lenses. Because the displayed symbol is more specific than a circular signal, the arrow orientation must be agreed before production.

Applications and controller matching

The larger indication can suit wide approaches, industrial access roads, bridge approaches and intersections where the viewing distance is greater than for a compact 200mm head. It may also be used in a reversible or shared-lane arrangement when the approved control logic calls for two-way arrows. The electrical version can be configured for 12–24V DC or 110–220V AC. Self-learning and RS485 real-time communication options are available, but the correct choice depends on the controller output and the way the red-yellow-green sequence is generated.
